Straightforward, good budget property. Large and freshly decorated room with an extra £150, an overflowing bin, biscuits. Location not far from the surrounding area, and the airfield. Also, in the pub's restaurant. ...

Nice staff and good pub food with the option of a more a La Carte menu option. Bottled real ale. Rooms of a 'chalet' type which were nice, comfortable and quiet. Very good breakfast.Would stay again.

Doors squeaked and floors creeked, so was kept awake by any movement of other guests. And walls "very thin".... I could hear people talking upstairs until the early hours.

I liked the country feel, the modern rooms with original features. The courtyard outside is nice with the my room situated in a barn behind the main hotel.

Close to Duxford Aircraft museum.
The room felt very dated, and a little tatty.

Staff were helpful, breakfast was ok.
Room was ok but quite small for a family room (2 adults and a child). Bathroom was very basic and tiny, shower was very weak. Not worth £105 per night, shame there are no alternatives nearby.

Families should stay here
Staff were really friendly, they even set up a put up bed for my son coz I booked a double instead of a twin. The food was top notch, they even catered for my gluten free diet at breakfast which was a pleasant surprise....

Close to my business destination
The building does look inviting from the pictures on Booked.net website. However, when you enter the building and your room it does look tired, in need of updating and revitalising. There is a significant temperature drop between your room and the bathroom which smelt of damp (although I couldnt find any damp). The other reviews fail to remember that you get what you pay for and we didnt pay much and it included a good breakfast. With a Travel lodge just down the road its got stiff competition. Having a bar/pub like area is the only difference when deciding.

The room was comfortable and fitted with luxuriously thick towels. The location offered ample open space and convenient parking. The breakfast experience left much to be desired due to a lack of clear communication about options, resulting in confusion among guests. The reception staff was unhelpful at checkout, which marred an otherwise pleasant stay.
